LEPL Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted A presentation of the monograph “Labour Dispute Resolution Mechanisms as an Effective Means of Protecting Employee’s Rights (German-Georgian Comparative Analysis)” authored by Goga Kikilashvili, an affiliated professor at the International Black Sea University and a visiting lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The presentation was attended by professors from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and International Black Sea University and experts of the field, as well as by honored guests from the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, judges of the System of Common Courts of Georgia, representatives of the LEPL Mediators Association of Georgia, LEPL Training Center of Justice of Georgia, and the LEPL House of Justice.
The monograph was prepared within the framework of the Georgian Researchers Mobility Program (GRMP) at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Labor Law Studies of the European University Viadrina (Frankfurt an der Oder, Germany). The project involved 21 experts from 6 countries, including judges of all three instances, professors of the field, and practicing lawyers and mediators.
The essential part of the work is devoted to a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of individual labor dispute resolution mechanisms, based on which practical recommendations are dravted, considering relevant international and local experience. The monograph is intended for researchers of the field, practicing lawyers, and students of high educational institutions.
